Job summary

Amergis, formerly Maxim Healthcare Staffing, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse in healthcare facilities. This contract part-time role requires meeting state requirements, CPR if applicable, and being at least 18 with a health certificate as required.

The CNA will perform individualized patient care activities and related non-professional services to support patients' personal needs

Qualifications

• Certification as a Nursing Assistant per client/state requirements.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Knowledge of clerical functions.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• Current Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Job description

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs directpatient care under the direct supervision of a RN or LPN/LVN or other licensedmedical professional.

The CNA/NA performs a variety of individualized patient careactivities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for thepersonal needs and comforts of patients.

• One year experience as a nursing assistant preferred
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant per client/staterequirements
• Knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of clericalfunctions
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
