Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to perform direct patient care under RN/LPN supervision in healthcare facilities. The role supports patient comfort, daily living activities, and related non-professional tasks. CNA certification and one year of experience are preferred, with CPR and health certificate current.

Position is contract - full time, with locations including Temple and Austin, Texas. Competitive pay and benefits eligible per employment status.

Qualifications

• Must be a CNA with certification per client/state requirements.
• One year experience as a nursing assistant preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clerical functions.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice and CPR current.
• Health certificate current and ability to meet legal requirements.

Job description

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs directpatient care under the direct supervision of a RN or LPN/LVN or other licensedmedical professional.

The CNA/NA performs a variety of individualized patient careactivities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for thepersonal needs and comforts of patients.

• One year experience as a nursing assistant preferred
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant per client/staterequirements
• Knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of clericalfunctions
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
