Job summary

Fort Wayne Health Campus is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the second shift to provide direct patient care and support for residents recovering from surgery, illness, or injury.

You will assist with ADLs, monitor vital signs, report changes to nursing staff, and help with mobility, transfers, and safe dark-room operations in a skilled nursing setting.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the State of Indiana.
• Ability to work second shift, with flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition, including vital signs and medication administration.
• Provide emotional support and assistance with mealtime, mobility, and ambulation.
• Assist with transfers, lifts, and repositioning of residents.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, including sanitation and organization of the unit.
