Aviata Health Group is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Englewood, Florida team. You will deliver direct care to residents, focusing on wellbeing, dignity, and independence.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, mobility, hygiene, and safety, plus light housekeeping and meal support. We value compassion, clear communication, and reliable observation & reporting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Florida CNA license.
• Able to read and communicate at adequate level to perform duties.
• Ability to treat seniors with dignity and respect.
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly manner.
• Complete our new hire orientation.

Responsibilities

• Caring for the personal needs, safety, and comfort of residents.
• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including wardrobe, personal hygiene, and mobility.
• Aiding in daily tasks, such as laundry, transportation, and mail delivery.
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation.
• Observing and reporting changes in residents’ condition and status.
• Conducting rounds to monitor for hazards or incidents.
• Assisting in dining, including escorting residents to the dining room, serving, and clean up.
• Companionship and conversation.
• Other duties as assigned
