Job summary

Aviata North Fort Myers is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to deliver direct, person-centered care to residents in a skilled nursing setting. You will assist with daily living activities, hygiene, mobility, and timely medication reminders while respecting dignity and independence.

Shifts available are 3p-11p and 11p-7a; we offer health insurance for the whole family, a bi-weekly $225 Perfect Punch bonus, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Completion of a state-approved CNA certification course.
• Ability to read and communicate at an adequate level to essential job duties.
• Ability to treat and care for seniors with dignity and respect.
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner.
• New hire orientation must be completed.

Responsibilities

• Care for residents' personal needs, safety, and comfort.
• Assist residents with daily living activities including wardrobe, hygiene, and mobility.
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation; assist with transportation and mail delivery.
• Medication reminders.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ condition and status.
• Conduct rounds to monitor hazards or incidents.
• Assist in dining, including escorting residents to the dining room, serving, and cleanup.
• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Other duties as assigned.

About the Role:

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will play a vital role in delivering direct care to our residents and patients in a skilled nursing home setting. Responsibilities

• Care for the personal needs, safety, and comfort of our residents
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including wardrobe, personal hygiene, and mobility
• Aid in daily tasks such as telephone use, laundry, transportation, and mail deliveryLight housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Medication reminders
• Observe and report changes in residents’ condition and status
• Conduct rounds to monitor for hazards or incidents
• Assist in dining, including escorting residents to the dining room, serving, and clean up
• Provide companionship and conversation
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
