Job summary

Aviata Health Group is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join Aviata at the Sea - Harbor Beach in Fort Lauderdale, FL. You will deliver direct care to residents and patients in compliance with laws and life care standards.

Qualifications

• Must have state-approved CNA certification.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to read and communicate at an adequate level.
• Ability to care for seniors with dignity and respect.
• Caregivers must complete our new hire orientation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct care to residents and patients, prioritizing their wellbeing and independence.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, personal hygiene, and mobility.
• Aid in daily tasks such as telephone use, laundry, transportation, and mail delivery.
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation.
• Medication reminders.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ condition and status.
• Conduct rounds to monitor for hazards or incidents.
• Assist in dining, including escorting residents to dining room, serving, and cleanup.
• Provide companionship and conversation.

Required Qualifications
