Job summary

Legend Senior Living® is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our nursing team in Oklahoma City. You will assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal care, grooming, meals, and hygiene, while ensuring their comfort and safety throughout your shift.

You will document shift reports and resident records, communicate any urgent needs to the Health Care Director, and manage tasks within your scheduled shift.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required by state regulations.
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily care including personal care, grooming, hygiene, meals.
• Monitor residents' physical and emotional comfort and respond as needed.
• Document daily shift reports and resident records.
• Communicate urgent needs and concerns clearly to Health Care Director.
• Manage assigned tasks within the scheduled shift.

Responsibilities

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

• Assisting with the daily care of the residents, including: Personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, social interactions, and meals.
• Monitoring the resident’s physical and emotional comfort and responding as needed
• Documenting completed tasks such as: Daily shift report, resident records and negotiated service agreement
• Confidentially communicating clearly to other staff, such as: Urgent needs for the next shift and all concerns to the Health Care Director
• Demonstrating the ability to manage assigned tasks within the scheduled shift

Requirements

• Required: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) as required by state regulations
• Prefer: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
