Job summary

Regency Coupeville is seeking dedicated CNAs to provide quality nursing care on the island. Join a recently remodeled facility with supportive leadership and a focus on resident dignity and independence. Immediate full-time evenings and weekends with a $2,500 welcome bonus are offered.

You will follow individualized care plans, assist with daily living activities, monitor skin integrity, document observations, and ensure safety and infection control. CPR/BLS eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Possess CNA certification in the state of employment.
• Ability to obtain CPR/BLS card.

Responsibilities

• Ensure individualized care plans are followed and provide care planning staff with specific information, changes, and observations of the residents' needs and preferences.
• Attend to the resident's needs, including grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, incontinent care, toileting, colostomy care, prosthetic appliances, transferring, ambulation, range of motion, communication, in keeping with the individuals' care requirements.
• Maintain each resident's skin integrity to prevent pressure ulcers, skin tears, and other damage by turning immobile residents and applying moisturizers to fragile skin.
• Protect the personal belongings of each resident and promptly report missing items according to established policy.
• Take vital signs, residents' weights, apply creams/ointments, collect specimens, lift, move, and transport residents, using proper body mechanics or lifting devices to prevent accidents.
• Document care in keeping with department policies.
• Follow prescribed safety and infection control procedures.
• Communicate and interact tactfully with the residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.

You Will:
