Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a contract - full time assignment in Batavia, NY. You will perform direct patient care under the supervision of an RN or LPN, and assist with daily living activities in a healthcare facility.

Location: Batavia, NY

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs directpatient care under the direct supervision of a RN or LPN/LVN or other licensedmedical professional.

The CNA/NA performs a variety of individualized patient careactivities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for thepersonal needs and comforts of patients.

Minimum Requirements:

• One year experience as a nursing assistant preferred
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant per client/staterequirements
• Knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of clericalfunctions
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
