We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Chandler Care Center in Chandler, Oklahoma. As a CNA at our facility, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents, supporting their physical, emotional, and psychological needs.
About the Role:
- Provide high-quality, individualized care to our residents, including basic nursing care, vital signs monitoring, and medication administration
- Work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other team members to ensure seamless care coordination
- Participate in orientation and training programs to stay up-to-date on the latest best practices and technologies
- Contribute to a positive, supportive environment by promoting respect, empathy, and inclusivity for all residents
Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition, vital signs, and behavior
- Assist with medication administration, including recording and reporting medication errors
- Support resident independence and autonomy through assistance with mobility, hygiene, and self-care routines
- Participate in care plan development and implementation, including identifying and reporting changes in resident condition
Requirements:
- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Oklahoma
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associates or bachelor's degree in nursing, healthcare, or related field preferred
- Ability to lift, transfer, and move residents safely and efficiently
- Effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
