Job summary

Emerald-Care-Center-Southwest is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Nursing team in Oklahoma City, OK. You will provide high-quality resident care, assist with daily living activities, and support a safe, comfortable environment.

Qualifications include an Oklahoma CNA certification and prior experience in a skilled nursing facility. Typical shifts include 2pm–10pm; we offer benefits such as medical, dental, vision, 401K, and PTO.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Aid residents with mobility, transfers, and safe ambulation.
• Monitor and record vital signs.
• Document care provided and changes in residents’ conditions in EHR.
• Communicate changes or concerns to nursing staff promptly.
• Assist with feeding, meals, and social companionship.
• Follow infection control procedures and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Collaborate with nurses and physicians to ensure coordinated care.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing facility team. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Work Environment

This position operates in a clinical healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Resident Care: Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Mobility Assistance: Help residents with mobility issues, including transferring, positioning, and ambulating safely.
• Vital Signs Monitoring: Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
• Documentation: Accurately document all care provided, changes in residents’ conditions, and any other pertinent information in electronic health records.
• Communication: Report any changes in residents’ conditions or concerns to the nursing staff or supervisor in a timely manner.
• Supportive Tasks: Assist with feeding, preparing meals, and providing companionship to enhance residents’ quality of life.
• Infection Control: Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses and physicians, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care.

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting preferred. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move residents, as well as perform physical tasks associated with patient care.
• Certifications: Current CNA certification in Oklahoma required.
