Job summary

COX HEALTHCARE LTD in Oklahoma is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to support residents in our skilled nursing and long-term care community. You will assist with bathing, dressing, mobility, meals, and social activities, delivering compassionate, person-centered care daily.

You’ll monitor residents, report changes to the nursing team, maintain documentation, uphold infection control, and provide emotional support. Shifts run 7 days with 7-7 day and night availability.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in Oklahoma.
• A genuine passion for caring for older adults and individuals with complex health needs.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Reliability, compassion, and patience in all interactions.
• Ability to lift, move, and assist residents as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition to nursing staff.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and nutritional needs, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
• Support residents in participating in activities and social programs to promote engagement and well-being.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided in accordance with facility policies.
• Uphold infection control and safety standards to protect residents and staff.
• Offer emotional support and companionship, fostering trust and comfort.
