Signature HealthCARE in Beattyville, KY is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support residents with daily living activities and provide compassionate care under licensed staff supervision.

You will assist with ADLs, monitor residents, document vital signs, and help maintain a clean, safe environment. The role emphasizes teamwork, communication, and respect for resident rights, with a focus on quality outcomes and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current, active CNA certification from the state where the facility operates.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team and under licensed staff.
• Customer service oriented with ability to work well under pressure.
• Approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change.
• Function independently with personal integrity and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide activities of daily living (ADLs) within the scope of practice as defined by state regulation and the resident’s plan of care.
• Change bed linen and maintain grooming supplies in resident rooms.
• Ambulate and transfer residents, utilizing appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics.
• Record resident vital signs, weights and measurements, intake and output, food consumption, and other information as assigned.
• Routinely turn and position residents, as necessary.
• Recognize and support resident rights and choices within the care environment.
• Maintain established housekeeping standards within assigned duty areas.
• Promptly answer call lights and assist with resident needs.
• Assist in the orientation and training of other staff, as requested.
• Other special projects and duties, as assigned.

How You Will Make a Difference
