Job summary

Signature HealthCARE is seeking a Full-Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Bowling Green. CNAs provide direct resident care under supervision, assist with ADLs, help maintain a compassionate environment, and support nursing staff in daily operations.

We offer 8-hour shifts, a $2,500 sign-on bonus for full-time CNAs, comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, PTO, tuition assistance, and more.

Qualifications

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from state in which the facility operates.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team and under licensed nursing staff guidance.
• Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change.

Responsibilities

• Provide activities of daily living (ADLs) within the scope of practice and resident plan of care.
• Change bed linen and maintain cleanliness in resident rooms.
• Ambulate and transfer residents using appropriate devices and body mechanics.
• Record resident vital signs, weights, intake/output, and other information.
• Routinely turn and position residents; support resident rights and choices.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in assigned duty areas.
• Respond promptly to call lights and assist with resident needs.
• Assist in orientation and training of other staff.

How You Will Make a Difference

Perform direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel. Assist with promoting a compassionate physical and psychosocial environment for the residents in accordance with facility policies and procedures.

• Provide activities of daily living (ADLs) within the scope of practice as defined by state regulation and the resident’s plan of care.
• Change bed linen and maintain appropriate grooming supplies in resident room on a regular basis.
• Ambulate and transfer residents, utilizing appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics.
• Record resident vital signs, weights and measurements, intake and output, food consumption, and other information, as assigned.
• Routinely turn and position residents, as necessary.
• Recognize and support resident rights and choices within the care environment.
• Maintain established housekeeping standards within assigned duty areas.
• Promptly answer call lights and assist with resident needs.
• Assist in the orientation and training of other staff, as requested.
• Other special projects and duties, as assigned.

What You Need To Make a Difference

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from state in which the facility operates.
