Standing Stone Care & Rehabilitation Center in Monterey, TN invites applications for a Certified Nursing Assistant. Join a Signature HealthCARE family facility delivering compassionate, patient-focused care and daily support to residents.

You will provide ADL assistance, monitor residents, and collaborate with licensed staff to uphold quality care standards in a fast-paced nursing environment.

Qualifications

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from the state where the facility operates.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team and under licensed staff.
• Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change.
• Function independently with personal integrity and ability to work with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care duties under supervision of licensed nursing personnel.
• Assist with ADLs in line with resident’s plan of care and state regulations.
• Change bed linens and maintain grooming supplies in resident rooms.
• Ambulate and transfer residents using appropriate devices and techniques.
• Record resident vital signs, weights, measurements, intake/output, and food intake.
• Turn and position residents regularly and support resident rights.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in duty areas and respond to call lights promptly.
• Assist in orientation and training of other staff as requested.
• Participate in special projects and duties as assigned.

How you Will make a difference

Perform direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel. Assist with promoting a compassionate physical and psychosocial environment for the residents in accordance with facility policies and procedures.

• Provide activities of daily living (ADLs) within the scope of practice as defined by state regulation and the resident’s plan of care.
• Change bed linen and maintain appropriate grooming supplies in resident room on a regular basis.
• Ambulate and transfer residents, utilizing appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics.
• Record resident vital signs, weights and measurements, intake and output, food consumption, and other information, as assigned.
• Routinely turn and position residents, as necessary.
• Recognize and support resident rights and choices within the care environment.
• Maintain established housekeeping standards within assigned duty areas.
• Promptly answer call lights and assist with resident needs.
• Assist in the orientation and training of other staff, as requested.
• Other special projects and duties, as assigned.

What you Need to make a Difference
