Job summary

Grace Lutheran Communities is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to join the Edgewood team on Full-Time and Part-Time AM/PM/NOC shifts. Flexible scheduling and meaningful, compassionate care are core to our mission.

Earn $18.00-$23.50 per hour based on experience and shift, with competitive benefits including medical, dental, vision, Health Savings Account, paid time off, PayActiv access to earned wages, and a retirement match up to 4%.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow individual care plans.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and record resident health and behavior; communicate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Follow residents' individual care plans.
• Know emergency and evacuation procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of long-term care regulations.
• Attend orientation and maintain CNA certification.
• Assist in housekeeping and inventory of supplies.
• Participate in staff meetings and trainings.
• Clean resident rooms and common areas.

Essential Functions

• Monitor and record health and behavior of residents and clients. Communicate such information with other members of the interdisciplinary team
• Know and follow residents and clients individual care plans
• Know the emergency and evacuation procedures established for the unit/facility
• Have a working knowledge of the regulations governing long term care
• Attend required orientation, training and maintain current Certified Nursing Assistant certification
• Use all materials, food and supplies resourcefully, report needed items to the Director
• Maintain a positive work and living environment
• Assist in household and housekeeping duties on a daily basis, including inventory, storage of supplies, light housekeeping and other duties as assigned by DON, Director or Administrator
• Be available for staff meetings and trainings as requested
• Clean resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and furniture/furnishings according to job standards/procedures
• Follow manufacturers procedural guidelines when using tools, handling chemicals, operation of equipment; removal of debris; removal of soiled linens
• Etc.
