Job summary

Allendale Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in New Jersey to join our care team. Full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities are available with daily pay and competitive hourly pay based on experience and status.

Responsibilities include ADL assistance, compassionate resident care, and collaboration with licensed nurses to ensure safety and quality of life for residents. Must have NJ CNA license and BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Active NJ CNA license required (unencumbered).
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic resident care under supervision of licensed staff.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs): feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility.
• Observe residents and report changes in condition to nursing staff promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment that supports dignity and comfort for residents.
• Support nursing staff to deliver high-quality, resident-centered care.

$21.50 - $27 an hour (all-inclusive Based on experience shift and status)

Responsibilities for CNAs:

• Provide basic resident care under the direction and supervision of licensed nursing staff in a safe, compassionate, and respectful manner.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility assistance, and changing linens.
• Provide supportive care and services to ensure residents' physical, emotional, and daily living needs are consistently met.
• Observe residents and report changes in condition, behavior, or needs to nursing staff in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment that promotes dignity and well-being for all residents.
• Support nursing staff and the care team in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care.

Qualifications for CNAs:

• Must hold a current, active, and unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in New Jersey.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification required.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple residents in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment.
• Demonstrated compassion, patience, and commitment to providing high-quality resident care.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions accurately and consistently.
