Qualifications

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Setting: Skilled Nursing

Wage Scale: Starting at $20/hr + DOE

Status: Full-time, Part-Time, and PRN All Shifts

Shift: Evenings (2pm-10pm); and NOCs (10pm-6am)

Responsibilities
  • Check residents routinely to ensure their personal care needs are met according to their wishes.
  • Review and update patient care plans daily.
  • Report any changes in residents' conditions to the nurse supervisor.
  • Assist residents with daily needs, activities, and transportation to appointments.
  • Create a warm, patient, enthusiastic, and calm environment.
  • Prepare residents' rooms and help them feel comfortable.
  • Participate in facility surveys by government agencies.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all resident information per HIPAA guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with nursing staff and management.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 10th-grade education.
  • Licensed CNA in this state.
  • Fluent in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
  • Passion for caregiving and improving residents' quality of life.
  • Active CPR/BLS certification.

This position is subject to a collective bargaining agreement with SEIU 503.
