Job summary

HumanGood’s Piedmont Gardens in Oakland, CA is seeking a per diem Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate care aligned with our Philosophy for Person-Directed Care. You will assist residents with daily living activities, help them stay independent, and maintain a safe, supportive environment.

Shifts include AM, PM, and NOC, with weekend availability essential. This role welcomes new grads and those with CNA experience.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant certificate or enrollment in a CNA program.
• Prior CNA or caregiving experience preferred.
• New grads are welcome!

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living.
• Create a safe, respectful environment to support resident well-being.

Description

Our Certified Nursing Assistants actively incorporate our “Philosophy for Person-Directed Care.” You would develop awareness of residents’ interests and needs, and assist residents to maximize their independence and participation by providing exemplary care to residents ranging from basic needs, to activities of daily living, to recreational activities. You would help create a safe environment in which to provide resident care.

Department: Assisted Living

This is a Per Diem position

Shift: AM (7:00am - 3:00pm), Pm (3:00pm - 11:00pm), NOC (11:00pm- 7:00Am) must be available to work weekends

Pay: $28.03

To be successful in the role, you would have:

• Certified Nursing Assistant certificate or currently enrolled in program
• Prior CNA or caregiving experience preferred
• New grads are welcome!
