Job summary

Lake Prince Woods in Suffolk, VA is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Memory Care and Assisted Living Unit. Shifts: 7am-3pm, full time, 7am-3pm.

You will provide direct resident care under the direction of a registered nurse, helping residents reach and maintain highest functioning as ordered by physicians. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, CNA certification, and completion of the CNA program with in-services current.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED required.
• Minimum of three months' nursing assistant experience; new grads considered.
• Certified Nursing Assistant program completed with current certification.

At Lake Prince Woods, a continuing care retirement community, we are hiring staff for the following position:

Lake Prince Woods is a growing not for profit CCRC located in Suffolk. We have within our community a dedicated assisted living area, memory support area, Healthcare Unit and Home Health. The Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct resident care, assisting the resident to reach and maintain the highest level of functioning in accordance with physician’s orders, company and industry standards and federal and state regulations.

The Caregiver-Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct resident care, assisting the resident to reach and maintain the highest level of functioning under the direction of a Registered Nurse in accordance with physician’s orders, company and industry standards and federal and state regulations. Encourages and promotes resident’s ability to adapt and adjust to living independently as speedily and safely as possible.

Minimal Education:

High School graduate or G.E.D.

Minimal Experience:

Minimum of three (3) months' work experience in basic nursing procedures for nursing assistants. Will consider new grads.

Other Qualifications:

Successfully completed the Certified Nursing Assistant program and has current certification and required in-services.

Minimum age of 16 years or older is required for this position due to Department of Labor regulations.
