Job Description

Guardian Angel Staffing is interviewing for both Full Time and Part Time Employment opportunities for: Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) for local Long Term Care Facilities in the Wilmore, Kentucky Area.

Candidates must have a strong work history with minimal gaps in their employment, these are floor positions in a long term care facility.

Part Time requires a minimum of two days per week.

JOB SUMMARY:
Under the guidance, direction and supervision of a licensed nurse performs sub-professional, non-technical tasks in providing routine daily nursing care to their residents and performs routine ward duties such as providing professional age and culturally appropriate nursing care for their assigned patients in their unit, and monitoring their patients vital signs.

º Physical: Able to do much walking and standing; varied body motions- reaching, stooping, turning, stretching, pushing, handling and manipulating various instruments and equipment; lifts; audio and visual acuity; physical dexterity; ability to speak clearly; neat and clean appearance; works inside.
º Mental: Emotional stability to meet demands of position and during stress emergency situations; alertness and adaptability to change in situations; good memory; patience, tact and understanding; organization of varied activities; ability to listen; capable of good judgement

AVAILABLE SHIFTS: 7a-3p, 3p-11p, 11p-7a, 7a-7p & 7p-7a; must be able to work weekends

Qualifications

Requirements Include But Not Limited To:
1. Active license on Kentucky Board of Nursing in good standing
2. CPR Card
3. TB Skin Test and/or Chest X-Ray
4. College Diploma, High Schools Diploma or GED
5. Pass Background and Drug Screening
6. Comply with Covid-19 Policy and Procedures
7.Current experience within the last year that can be verified working in a long term care facility or a hospital taking care of a team of patients.
