Job summary

Wesley Manor Retirement Community in Louisville, KY is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant for 2nd shift (part-time) to join our Health Care Center team. The CNA will provide hands-on, resident-focused care, assist with daily living activities, monitor residents, and collaborate with licensed staff to maintain high-quality care.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and mobility.
  • Support resident dignity, independence, comfort, and safety during daily care routines.
  • Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation using proper techniques and equipment.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and other resident information as directed.
  • Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition, behavior, skin integrity, pain, or safety concerns to licensed nursing staff.
  • Provide emotional support, companionship, and respectful communication to residents and families.
  • Follow individualized care plans and assist the nursing team in meeting resident care needs.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized resident care environment.
  • Document care provided accurately and in timely in accordance with facility procedures.
  • Follow infection control, safety, resident rights, and confidentiality standards.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Position Summary:


Wesley Manor Retirement Community is seeking a compassionate, dependable, resident-focused Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Health Care Center team. The CNA provides hands-on, person-centered care in a skilled nursing and long-term care environment while supporting resident dignity, comfort, safety, and quality of life. This position assists residents with activities of daily living, observes and reports changes in condition, and works closely with licensed nursing staff to support high-quality resident care.
