Job summary

Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Plymouth is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Night shift. This part-time role (24 hours per week) covers 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with rotating weekends and holidays, in a busy acute care unit.

Responsibility includes personal care, sitter duties, and collaboration with RN staff under supervision. Required: MA CNA license or EMT or nursing program enrollment, HS diploma, BLS upon hire; 1-2 years CNA experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Current MA CNA license or EMT license or nursing program enrollment.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work in a busy acute care unit.
• AHA BLS certification required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to patients and maintain physical comfort.
• Work under supervision of registered nursing staff.
• Perform sitter duties as needed.
• May be floated to other units as required.
