Job summary

Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Plymouth, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is seeking a part-time night shift Nursing Assistant/Sitter. The role provides personal care, comfort, and assistance to patients under nursing supervision.

Rotating weekends/holidays and a 24-hour weekly schedule support busy acute care needs. Requirements include a MA CNA license (or EMT license or nursing program enrollment with clinical hours), strong organizational skills, and BLS certification at hire.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• MA Certified Nurse Assistant license, EMT license, or enrollment in a nursing program with clinical hours.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced acute care unit.
• AHA BLS certification required upon hire.
• 1–2 years CNA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and maintain personal care to patients under supervision.
• Perform sitter duties and assist nursing staff with basic tasks.
• May be floated to areas where needed during shifts.
