Job summary

Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Plymouth is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for 36 hours per week, with shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and rotating weekends/holidays.

The role provides essential personal care to patients and supports nursing staff under supervision, with occasional sitter duties. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent (or be enrolled in a nursing program), MA CNA license or EMT license or nursing program enrollment with clinical hours, and BLS

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent or enrolled in a co-op program with successful completion of HS diploma within 6 months.
• Current MA Certified Nurse Assistant License, EMT License, or current enrollment in a nursing program with sufficient hours of clinical rotation required.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification REQUIRED upon hire.
• 1-2 years Cert. Nursing Assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to maintain physical comfort under supervision of registered nursing staff.
• Perform sitter duties as assigned.
• Floated to other areas as needed based on unit coverage.
