Job summary

Ayden Healthcare of Waterville is seeking a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) for full-time or part-time day shifts. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for full-time staff. Shifts run 12 hours, 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM, with daily pay options and strong benefits including a 401K.

The STNA will deliver basic patient care, assist with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, document observations, and communicate needs to nursing staff per care plans.

Qualifications

• Provides basic patient care under nursing supervision.
• Performs tasks to support daily living activities as per care plans.
• Records vital signs and reports to nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Providing basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff.
• Feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, moving patients, or changing linens.
• Ensuring resident medical needs are addressed.
• Providing physical support to assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Ensuring appropriate nutrition according to care plans.
• Recording vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration).
• Gathering information from caregivers, nurses, or physicians about patient condition or treatment plans.
• Observing or examining patients to detect symptoms needing medical attention.
• Documenting/ reporting observations to nurses.

STNA State Tested Nursing Assistant Responsibilities include:

State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) you will provide basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff. You will be responsible for performing a variety of duties such as feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, moving patients, or changing linens. Additional STNA responsibilities include:

• Ensuring resident medical needs are being addressed,
• Providing physical support to assist patients to perform daily living activities,
• Ensuring patient receives appropriate nutritional needs based on care plans,
• Recording vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, or respiration rate,
• Gathering information from caregivers, nurses, or physicians about patient condition, treatment plans, or appropriate activities,
• Observing or examining patients to detect symptoms that may require medical attention,
• Documenting or otherwise reporting observations of patient behavior, complaints, or physical symptoms to nurses.

State Tested Nursing Assistant STNA Qualifications:

• Must possess an Ohio State Tested Nursing Assistant Certification
