Job summary

Ayden Healthcare of Oregon is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (STNA) to provide basic patient care under nursing staff supervision. Shifts run 6 AM–2 PM, 2 PM–10 PM, and 10 PM–6 AM, with both full-time and part-time positions available.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, taking vital signs, and documenting patient information. Ohio STNA certification is required; sign-on bonus for full-time employees and a 401K are offered.

Qualifications

• Must possess an Ohio State Tested Nursing Assistant Certification.
• Competitive wage scale based on experience; full-time and part-time roles available.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under nursing staff direction.
• Assist with feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, and linen changes.
• Move patients and assist with daily living activities.
• Record vital signs (temperature, BP, pulse, respiration).
• Gather information from caregivers, nurses, or physicians on patient status.
• Observe patients for symptoms requiring medical attention.
• Document observations and report to nurses promptly.

STNA State Tested Nursing Assistant Responsibilities include:

State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) you will provide basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff. You will be responsible for performing a variety of duties such as feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, moving patients, or changing linens. Additional STNA responsibilities include:

• Ensuring resident medical needs are being addressed,
• Providing physical support to assist patients to perform daily living activities,
• Ensuring patient receives appropriate nutritional needs based on care plans,
• Recording vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, or respiration rate,
• Gathering information from caregivers, nurses, or physicians about patient condition, treatment plans, or appropriate activities,
• Observing or examining patients to detect symptoms that may require medical attention,
• Documenting or otherwise reporting observations of patient behavior, complaints, or physical symptoms to nurses.

State Tested Nursing Assistant STNA Qualifications:
