Job summary

IXPERT Advisors is seeking a dedicated Travel Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join a Long-Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility. The ideal candidate will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor health, and support the nursing team in delivering high-quality care.

The role requires current BLS certification, at least 2 years in SNF/LTC, and the ability to work 12-hour day shifts on a full contract assignment.

Responsibilities

• Record patient care and document accurately.
• Assist with transferring, positioning, and ambulating residents safely.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow care plans.
• Support nurses with routine care per individual plans.
• Ensure infection control and facility safety compliance.
• Float to other units as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition to the nursing staff.
• Record patient care and maintain accurate documentation.
• Assist with transferring, positioning, and ambulating residents using proper safety techniques.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Support nurses with routine patient care and follow individualized care plans.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and facility policies.
• Float to other units as needed based on patient care requirements.

Requirements:

• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long-Term Care (LTC) experience.
• Previous travel healthcare experience preferred.
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility (travel candidates only).
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient care skills.
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and commit to the full contract assignment.
