Job responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of quality nursing care for residents as prescribed by physicians and care plans.
• Complete duties assigned by Charge Nurse, Unit Manager, or Supervisor.
• Report residents’ needs and concerns to a licensed nurse.
• Work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel.
• Handle difficult residents with patience and tact.

Qualifications

• Successfully completed a Nursing Assistant training course.
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant Certification from the State of New York.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Employment contingent on background check, PPD/TB screening, and drug test.
