Western Home Communities is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our award-winning team in Iowa. You’ll provide high-quality resident care under nurse supervision, supporting daily activities and personal hygiene while contributing to a supportive work environment with strong staffing ratios.

You will be encouraged to engage in continued education and participate in our care planning process, ensuring residents’ rights and dignity are upheld during every shift.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current active license to practice as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Experience/ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the public.
• Prior Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsabilités

• Provide care to residents under the supervision of the nurse and the support of your team.
• Provide physical support for residents with daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, getting out of bed, using the toilet, walking, standing, or exercising.
• Assists with organizing, cleaning, laundry, meals, and other assigned tasks.
• Promptly answer residents’ calls for assistance and provide compassionate care aligned with their care plan.
• Chart resident interactions throughout the shift and communicate with team members.
• Ensure that resident’s rights are adhered to.
