Western Home Communities is actively seeking a caring Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) to join our award-winning team in Iowa. You will provide care under nurse supervision, assist residents with daily activities and personal hygiene, and support routines with compassion and respect.

The role emphasizes detailed care plans, strong teamwork, and maintaining resident rights, with opportunities for professional growth in a continuing care retirement community.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current active license to practice as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Iowa.
• Experience/ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the public.
• Prior Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience is preferred, but not required.

What you'll do as a CNA:

• Provide care to residents under the supervision of the nurse and the support of your team
• Provide physical support for residents with daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, getting out of bed, - using the toilet, walking, standing, or exercising.
• Assists with organizing, cleaning, laundry, meals, and other assigned tasks
• Promptly answer residents' calls for assistance and provide compassionate care that is in alignment with their specific care plan
• Chart resident interactions throughout the shift and communicate efficiently with the members of your team
• Ensures that resident's rights are adhered to

What you'll need as a CNA:
