Job summary

Brookside Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Abington, PA, is seeking a dedicated CNA to join our team. We offer full-time, part-time, PRN and weekend program shifts with competitive pay between $17.75 and $20.50 per hour, based on experience.

Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, and a great working environment. Sign-on bonuses of $5,000 for FT and $2,500 for PT are available.

Qualifications

• Must be an active Pennsylvania CNA with current certification.
• Experience in nursing or patient care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care: bathing, dressing, feeding as needed.
• Assist with ambulating, turning, and positioning per care plan.
• Complete and record shift documentation accurately.
• Follow directions of nurses and licensed professionals.
• Be flexible, caring, and a supportive team member.
• Possess weekend availability as required.

As a CNA, the expectations are:

• The ability to work on the weekends

• To provide care for the resident, such as bathing, dressing, serving meals, and assisting with feeding as needed

• To have the ability to assist with ambulating,turning, and positioning the resident, as noted in the care plan

• To complete documentation of the care provided during the shift.

• Tofollow the direction of the nurses and other licensed medical professionals.

• To be a flexible, caring, supportive member of the team

CNA Qualifications:

• Must be an active Pennsylvania Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

• Previous Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience in nursing, patient care, or other related fields

• Ability to build rapport with patients

• Compassionate and caring demeanor
