Job summary

Brookside Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Abington, PA is seeking a dedicated and experienced CNA to join our team. You will provide resident care including bathing, dressing, meals, and feeding assistance, while following the care plan and directions from licensed staff.

We offer full-time, part-time, PRN, and weekend shifts with benefits such as medical, dental, vision, 401K, PTO, and a supportive work environment. A PA CNA license is required, with prior experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be an active Pennsylvania CNA.
• Previous CNA experience in nursing or patient care.
• Ability to build rapport with patients.
• Compassionate and caring demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Work weekends as required.
• Provide care such as bathing, dressing, serving meals, and assisting with feeding.
• Assist with ambulating, turning, and positioning as per care plan.
• Complete documentation of care provided during shift.
• Follow directions of nurses and other licensed professionals.
• Be a flexible, caring, supportive team member.

Shift Type: Full - time, part-time, PRN shifts, and Weekend Program Shift available

Rate: $17.75 - $20.50, depending on experience

$5,000 Sign-on bonus available for FT positions

$2,500 Sign on bonus available for Part-time positions

As a CNA, the expectations are:

• The ability to work on the weekends
• To provide care for the resident, such as bathing, dressing, serving meals, and assisting with feeding as needed
• To have the ability to assist with ambulating,turning, and positioning the resident, as noted in the care plan
• To complete documentation of the care provided during the shift.
• Tofollow the direction of the nurses and other licensed medical professionals.
• To be a flexible, caring, supportive member of the team

CNA Qualifications:

• Must be an active Pennsylvania Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• Previous Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience in nursing, patient care, or other related fields
• Ability to build rapport with patients
