Job description

Do meaningful work with clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Job Details

1. Full care case; must be comfortable with transfers
2. Hours:
   • Fridays - 7:00 AM - 6:30 PM
   • Saturdays - 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
   • Sundays - 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
3. Will work alongside a special education teacher

Requirements for a Certified Nurse Aide:

• At least one year of work experience
• Active and in good standing on the PA Aide Registry
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination
• Enjoy being part of a caring team and a company that values its employees

Job Responsibilities:

• Activities of daily living
• Light housekeeping
• Bathing, grooming, toileting
• Range of motion exercises
• Transfers using mechanical lifting devices
• Oral feeding
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
• Home management tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making, etc.
• Assisting with ambulation
