Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated, full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)/Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to join our hospice team in Philadelphia, PA.

Duties:

• Care for a census of 5-6 patients
• Assist with activities of daily living: personal hygiene, grooming, mouth, skin care, and nails
• Help with toileting, positioning, transfer activities, and frequent turning of bed-bound residents/patients
• Support prescribed exercises and ROM activities as instructed by the Hospice Nurse
• Perform light housekeeping in the patient's room, including changing bed linens and laundry
• Assist with meals and feeding
• Report any changes in patient condition to the Nurse

Qualifications:

• Meet state training requirements
• Complete at least 75 hours of classroom and supervised practical training, including 16 hours of practical and 16 hours of classroom instruction
• Minimum one year of experience as a CNA, hospice aide, or home health aide (hospice experience preferred)
• Be at least 18 years old
• Possess a valid driver’s license and insured vehicle in good condition
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
