CareOne at New Bedford is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide essential patient care under nursing staff, in a supportive and compassionate environment.

You will assist with activities of daily living, help with mobility, monitor residents, and collaborate with the care team to ensure comfort and safety. We offer part-time and full-time roles with a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Active Nursing Assistant certification in the state.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to provide age-appropriate patient care and maintain safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under nursing staff supervision.

Compensation will be based on, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, credentials, employment status, and work schedule

Responsibilities

• Basic patient care under direction of nursing staff
• Perform duties, such as feed, bathe, dress, groom, or move patients, or change linens.
• Active nursing aide certification in the state of operation.
• Prefer experience with patients of all ages in a SNF setting. Dedication to quality care.

Position Requirements

• Must be a certified or state tested Nursing Assistant in accordance with the laws of the state.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.
• Must be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of team work and team concept.
• Must have patience tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.
• Must be able to relate information concerning a resident's condition.
