Job summary

CareOne at Valley is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in Westwood, NJ. Positions available across multiple shifts include full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities.

Responsibilities include basic care under nursing supervision, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring resident comfort and safety. Active CNA certification and English proficiency are required; SNF experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified or state tested Nursing Assistant.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of residents.
• Demonstrates teamwork, patience, tact, and a cheerful disposition.
• Experience in SNF setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff.
• Assist with feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and changing linens.
• Support resident comfort, safety, and dignity at all times.
• Communicate residents' needs and conditions to the nursing team.

Salary: $17.50 - $25.00/hr

The Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for, but not limited to:

• Basic patient care under direction of nursing staff
• Perform duties, such as feed, bathe, dress, groom, or move patients, or change linens.
• Active nursing aide certification in the state of operation.
• Prefer experience with patients of all ages in a SNF setting. Dedication to quality care.

Position Requirements

• Must be a certified or state tested Nursing Assistant in accordance with the laws of the state.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.
• Must be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of team work and team concept.
• Must have patience tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.
• Must be able to relate information concerning a resident's condition.
