Job summary

CareOne Northampton is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for second and third shifts in Northampton, MA. You will assist nursing staff with basic patient care, including feeding, bathing, dressing, and mobility, and help maintain a clean, safe environment.

Candidates must have an active CNA certification in the state, be able to read/write/speak English, and demonstrate empathy, teamwork, and patience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to provide care appropriate to age-related needs of residents.

Responsibilities

$20.00 minimum to $29.00 maximum

Compensation will be based on, but no limited to, experience, qualifications, credentials, employment status, scheduled shift and if applicable, differentials related to a specific shift(s)/ and or day(s).

The Certified Nursing Assistant (Second & Third Shift) is responsible for, but not limited to:

• Basic patient care under direction of nursing staff
• Perform duties, such as feed, bathe, dress, groom, or move patients, or change linens.
• Active nursing aide certification in the state of operation.
• Prefer experience with patients of all ages in a SNF setting. Dedication to quality care.

Position Requirements

• Must be a certified or state tested Nursing Assistant in accordance with the laws of the state.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.
• Must be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of teamwork and team concept.
• Must have patience tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.
• Must be able to relate information concerning a resident's condition.
