Job summary

Milford Meadows Care Center in Milford, NE is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our nursing team and support residents with dignity and respect.

You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vitals, document care in the electronic health records, and collaborate with nurses to deliver safe, quality care. Nebraska CNA certification is required; evening and weekend shifts with differential are available, with PRN options as needed.

Qualifications

• Nebraska CNA certification is required.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Ability to lift and move residents and perform patient care tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Help residents with mobility issues, including transferring and ambulation.
• Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
• Accurately document all care provided, changes in residents' conditions, and other pertinent information in electronic health records.
• Report any changes in residents' conditions or concerns to the nursing staff or supervisor in a timely manner.
• Assist with feeding, preparing meals, and providing companionship to enhance residents' quality of life.
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
• Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses and physicians, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care.
