Job summary

Prime Healthcare Services in Dallas Regional Mesquite, TX is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join the Birth Place Department as a Nurse Aide. The role supports daily living activities and provides basic nursing care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Shifts are Days, hours vary, and full-time employment is offered. The organization provides comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, 401K, and tuition reimbursement, among others.

Qualifications

• Must have CNA license/certification upon hire.
• Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Minimum six months of acute care hospital or physician's office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living as part of the Birth Place Department team.
• Provide basic nursing care to non-critical patients.
• Maintain a safe environment under the supervision of the RN in charge.

Responsibilities

• The Nurse Aid in the Birth Place Department is an unlicensed assistive person who assists with activities of daily living
• Provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients
• Assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, required.
• Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology
