Job summary

Certified Nursing Assistant position in Clarkston WA 99403. 4 on, 2 off, 8-hour shifts (2:30pm - 10:30pm) in Long term Care facility. 13-week contract length. In-person work location with paid hourly wage.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour. Expected hours: 40.0 per week. Responsibilities include assisting patients with daily activities, taking vital signs, and supporting medical procedures under supervision. Must hold valid CNA certification and BLS/CPR knowledge.

Qualifications

Job Overview

Position: Certified Nursing Assistant
Location: Clarkston WA 99403
Shift: 4 on, 2 off, 8 hour shifts 2:30pm - 10:30pm
Facility Type: Long term Care
Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and comfort
• Take and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates with accuracy and attention to detail
• Support medical procedures by preparing patients and assisting with tasks like catheter care, wound care, or medication administration under supervision
• Maintain patient confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA regulations and ensuring proper documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Observe and report changes in patient condition or behavior promptly to nursing staff using clear, detailed communication
• Use safe lifting practices and equipment such as Hoyer lifts or transfer methods to assist with patient mobility safely
• Follow aseptic techniques during procedures to prevent infection and ensure a sterile environment

Requirements

• Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in accordance with state regulations
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (BLS/CPR) techniques
