Job summary

Ascension in Chicago, IL is seeking a Nurse Aide to provide compassionate daily living support in a skilled nursing environment. This part-time night shift role focuses on mobility, personal care, and safe resident monitoring.

You’ll work with licensed nurses, observe changes, maintain a clean, safe environment, and help with procedures as needed. Required licensure and BLS preferred; high school diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

• Nurse Aide obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Provide compassionate, hands-on support with daily living activities, mobility, and personal care
• Observe residents closely and report changes in physical, mental, or emotional condition to nursing staff
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by identifying hazards and promptly reporting safety concerns to nurses
• Partner with nurses to assist with physician-ordered procedures and resident care
