Job summary

Meridian Senior Living in Carterville, IL is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct resident care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and incontinence care.

You will keep accurate care records, report changes in residents’ conditions, and communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the public. Must hold an active CNA certification and meet health and background checks; 18+ years old with Food Handlers Permit.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active state-approved CNA certification in good standing.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must obtain a Food Handlers Permit as required by state regulations.
• Previous experience working with the elderly is preferred and demonstrates compassion.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public.
• Must meet health requirements and pass background checks.

Role Overview – Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

As a CNA you will provide direct care assisting residents in their daily activities. Responsibilities include bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, mobility, and incontinence care. Additional tasks include keeping proper care records, reporting any changes in residents’ conditions, and interacting effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active, state‑approved Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing
• Must be 18 years of age or older
