Meridian Senior Living is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct care for residents in our Boca Raton community. You will assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, mobility and incontinence care, while maintaining accurate care records and communicating changes to the team.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active State approved CNA certification in good standing.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Obtain Food Handlers Permit as required by State regulations.
• Previous experience working with the elderly.
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Must demonstrate the ability to work responsibly as a team member as well as an individual.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public.
• Must be honest, fair, dependable, respect confidentiality and the rights and privacy of others.
• Must meet all health requirements and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Bathing residents as part of daily care.
• Dressing and grooming assistance.
• Toileting and toileting hygiene support.
• Positioning and mobility assistance, including incontinence care.
• Keep proper care records and report changes in residents’ conditions.
