Job summary

Bardwell Residences in Aurora, IL is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant for a full-time 3rd shift to provide compassionate, resident-centered care according to each resident’s care plan.

You will assist residents with Activities of Daily Living while promoting independence and dignity, report health changes to the clinical team, and engage with residents and their families in a supportive, trusting manner. Training and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Current CNA certification from an accredited program.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to deliver care with compassion and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional and individualized care as determined by each resident’s care plan.
• Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and maintaining dignity.
• Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team.
• Connect with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience.
• Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities through attendance and participation in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences.
• Comply with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
