Job summary

Paycom in Vandalia, IL is seeking a Full Time CNA to deliver patient-centered care according to each resident’s care plan. You will assist with Activities of Daily Living, promoting independence and dignity, while reporting health status changes to the clinical team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Current CNA certification from an accredited program.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care per each resident’s care plan.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) maintaining dignity.
• Report health status changes to the clinical team.
• Engage with residents and families in a compassionate way.
• Participate in educational seminars and staff meetings.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional and individualized care as determined by each resident’s care plan
• Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and maintaining dignity
• Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team
• Connect with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience
• Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities through attendance and participation in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences
• Comply with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information
• Perform any other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School graduate or GED equivalent required
• Current certification from an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity
