Job summary

Reflections Retirement Community in Lansing, IL seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to deliver individualized resident care per each care plan, while assisting with Activities of Daily Living and preserving dignity.

This full-time, 2nd shift role works with the clinical team to report health status changes, support learning through seminars and meetings, and uphold privacy standards and respectful, loving service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Current CNA certification from an accredited program.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to serve with love, compassion and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional and individualized care per resident care plans.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living while promoting independence and dignity.
• Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team.
• Engage with residents and families in a compassionate manner.
• Participate in ongoing learning through seminars and staff meetings.
• Maintain confidentiality and privacy of resident information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Deliver exceptional and individualized care as determined by each resident’s care plan
• Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and maintaining dignity
• Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team
• Connect with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience
• Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities through attendance and participation in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences
• Comply with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information
• Perform any other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School graduate or GED equivalent required
• Current certification from an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity
