Apple Rehab Coccomo in Meriden, CT is seeking a dedicated CNA to provide compassionate daily care in a warm, family-like setting. Walk-in interviews are welcomed Monday through Friday, with competitive pay based on experience.

We offer shifts across 7:00am-3:00pm, 3:00pm-11:00pm, and 11:00pm-7:00am, with part-time and full-time openings. Perks include robust benefits and opportunities for growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Must hold current CNA certification in good standing.
• No history of patient/resident abuse as per State Registry.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and following oral and written instructions.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent follow-through, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Team player with good cooperation and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates patience, tact, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude towards residents and their support networks.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in daily bathing, grooming, dental care, bowel and bladder functions, dressing, walking and wheelchair use.
• Document personal care given according to facility policies and provide nursing functions as directed.
• Observe and report changes in residents' condition, including skin breakdowns, to supervisor.
• Respond to all call lights and emergencies calmly and efficiently.
• Record all necessary charting entries and communicate with the care team.

Available Shifts:

• Part-time and Fulltime Openings! Responsibilities: Assists residents in daily bathing, grooming, dental care, bowel and bladder functions, dressing, walking and wheelchair use, positioning in and out of bed. C.N.A. Certified Nurse's Assistant documents personal care given according to facility policies. Provides nursing functions as directed including perineal care, making beds, turning residents, measures and records temperature, weight, pulse and respiration. C.N.A. Certified Nurse's Assistant observes and reports to supervisor changes in residents' condition, including any skin breakdowns. Reports immediately all accidents or injuries. Records all necessary charting entries. Answers all call lights regardless of assignment. Responds to emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
