Job summary

ArchCare in New York City seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to support residents needing daily living assistance and comfort. Under RN/LPN supervision, you will help with bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility, ensuring dignity and safety.

The position is part-time with an evening shift (3pm–11pm). Compensation starts at $23.83/hour plus a 10% differential, plus benefits such as vacation, sick days and holidays, a 403(b), and voluntary insurance options.

Qualifications

• Current NY State Certified Nursing Assistant.
• Education includes High School Diploma or GED.
• Evening, part-time availability required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Transfer residents to/from activities and meals as per care plans.
• Serve meals and record changes in eating habits for supervisor review.
• Promote quality services in alignment with regulations.
• Report changes in residents' condition to RN/LPN.

Job Description

Responsibilities: Under the direction and supervision of an RN or LPN, performs various resident care activities and related non-professional duties for the specific needs and comfort of the aged and those that need our help.

• Assist residents with activities of daily living to include: bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Transfer residents to and from activities and meals according to their individual service plans.
• Serve meals to residents in the dining room or their apartments.
• Record and report changes in residents' eating habits to supervisor.
• Promote quality services within company, state and federal regulations.
