Job description

Private practice North Atlanta Ob/Gyn group seeking experienced and professional Certified Nurse Midwife to join our team of obstetric providers. We focus on a collaborative team-oriented approach to OB care providing evidence based care while also empowering our patients to make informed decisions.

We are seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to assist with office patient appointments, participate in the hospital/labor and delivery call schedule, manage laboring patients within the scope of midwifery care, assist with antepartum and postpartum hospital rounding, and to provide support to nurses and physicians in the office regarding obstetric patients.

CNM would have positive support of physicians and midwife colleagues. Our team of midwives and physicians are well-respected for their professionalism, compassion, and delivery of quality medical care. We value the patient-provider relationship and enjoy providing excellent care to all our patients. A new team member would need to value and excel at communication and patient education, have a full fund of knowledge and skill, and be able to be a positive team member.

Our practice delivers at Northside Hospital-Forsyth and Emory Johns Creek Hospital.

General Schedule:

* 40-44 hours average per week

* One 24 hr weekday call coverage

* Off Post-Call

* Approximately 2 days of office clinical hours per week

* Weekend call would rotate

Candidates should hold a current Georgia Advanced Practice RN license as well as a CNM license and be a graduate of an accredited school of midwifery. Fetal monitoring/NST interpretation required. Previous CNM experience preferred. Previous L&D nursing experience would be an asset.
